REACHING OPEN WATER is a collaborative research project led by artists Niharika Pore and James Southall-Ford. Together they collate fragmentary sources of information - data, images, and physical objects, that are united in their relation or proximity to water.

Through sustained research, they seek to reconstitute water as an entity of chaos and opportunity; in collecting and documenting objects, they acknowledge overlooked futuralities present within the materialisms of water and our relationships to it.
